CampbellWare New DOS Software
Inverary Solutions, the author of this site, has developed a modest number of new software titles for MS-DOS, Linux and Mac OS X Terminal. Development will soon be underway to port these tools to the Apple IIGS as well.
The full set of Inverary Solution's CampbellWare line of software can be reviewed and downloaded at www.inverary.net. This includes:
- VE, a multi-platform console text editor. Think vi power, but smaller, faster and friendlier.
- LoansMgr, a loan calculation and amortization table program.
- Walk, a program that can execute a supplied command at each level of a directory tree.
- STR, a program that can set the DOS text resolution to 80x25, 80x43 or 80x50.
- CPUType, a program that will report on the type of CPU the host DOS machine is running on.
- Keytest, a programmer's tool that reads keyboard presses and echos back the hex codes received.
- DataSizes, a programmer's tool that reports the size in bytes of common C data types.
